Hours / Shifts:
Varied Shifts Participates in the pre, intra and post-physical care of patients, and reports adverse findings directly to the licensed personnel assigned to that patient. Initiates, monitors and terminates dialysis treatments in accordance with the clinic’s policies and procedures. Prepares and monitors the hemodialyzer and the hemodialysis machines and performs the required quality control checks. Performs in-house laboratory procedures in accordance with the clinic’s policies and procedures and state law.
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED required.
- CNA certification required.
- PCT Certification preferred.
- Min. 6 months related exp and/or training.
- Hemodialysis exp preferred.
- Must successfully complete comprehensive training program and successfully pass National Certification exam within 18 months of hire date.
- Must attend 10 in-services annually.
