For the seventh consecutive year, IHOP restaurants nationwide will offer each guest a free short stack of its famous buttermilk pancakes on National Pancake Day in an effort to raise awareness and funds for our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital at Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare (FSLH).
Guests are invited to donate what they would have paid for a free short stack of pancakes, or more, to FSLH’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since the inception of its National Pancake Day in 2006, IHOP has raised nearly $8 million. In 2011, IHOP served more than four million free pancakes and raised more than $2.5 million in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities.
Additionally, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals “Miracle Balloons” are being sold for $1 and $5 each and can be personalized and displayed at participating IHOP restaurants now through March 1, 2012.
All proceeds from National Pancake Day support women's and children's services at FSLH. CMN-generated funds are used for equipment acquisition, health education for patients, parents and staff, and the services of specialists at the hospital. All funds raised remain here in our community to help save and improve the lives of the more than 19,000 local children cared for at FSLH each year.
