Campaign for Quality
Our community’s health is a shared responsibility, shared by patients, their families, providers, our hospital staff and caregivers. Understanding how we can all work together for the benefit of a healthy community, learning more about what other organizations and communities are doing to improve patient care and safety, as well as promoting community health is at the heart of the Campaign for Quality initiative.
This popular program has national and local experts presenting on current trends in healthcare, quality improvement topics and patient safety initiatives. It’s a true community event open to all employees and medical staff from our three area hospitals, as well as the general public.
Campaign for Quality celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2011and is held annually at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York in mid-October.
The hospital also hosts a series of events during the week for employees, medical staff and volunteers. Week day events include a Safety First poster contest, a health fair, Zumba and yoga demonstrations, a 5th anniversary celebration of Relationship-Based Care, a patient safety presentation at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, a unit secretary and care attendant teaching day, an administrative assistant program as well as many other exciting presentations.
